The ISO-image-on-a-USB option isn't available. My drive reads other disks.ĭid I miss a step somewhere? Do I need a new Windows disk? I'm not sure how to replace my disk. It will not create the partition because "The installer disk could not be found." This disk worked perfectly last time and has been sitting, untouched in its case so there is no reason for it to be damaged. Now I am trying to use create the new partition and install Windows 7 from the disk I bought a couple I made an image of my Windows side, backed up the Mac side and was able to eliminate my original windows partition. I'm running OS X and using Boot Camp 4.0.1. I thought this would be straightforward but no. I need to repartition the hard drive on my Mac to give Windows more space.
